On February 28, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the International Affairs of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), held the closing ceremony of the “RUTS and USM International Collaboration Camp 2025 (Civil Engineering Camp)” at the Faculty of Engineering, RUTS, Songkhla Campus. The program took place from February 25 to March 1, 2025.
The event was honored by the presence of executives, faculty members, and students from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, along with students from the Civil Engineering and Survey Engineering programs at RUTS, as well as Civil Engineering students from College of Industrial Technology and Management, Khanom Campus.
The participants enthusiastically engaged in various activities throughout the program and thay had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and culture through three main activities:
Academic – Academic activities to enhance knowledge in civil engineering.
Cultural Exchange – Cultural exchange between Thai and Malaysian students.
Sports – Sports activities to foster relationships and teamwork.
The closing ceremony was filled with friendship and memorable moments. Certificates were awarded to participants, and appreciation was expressed to everyone who contributed to the program’s success. This initiative not only strengthened engineering knowledge but also provided an opportunity to build meaningful relationships across universities and cultures.
Additionally, the ceremony was live-streamed via the Faculty of Engineering’s Facebook Fanpage by students from Electronic Engineering program, allowing those unable to attend in person to experience the event in real-time.
The “RUTS and USM International Collaboration Camp 2025” marks a significant step in promoting academic and cultural collaboration between universities. It serves as an inspiration for students to develop themselves and prepare for future international opportunities.
