Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijya (RUTS) and Universiti Malaysia Terangganu (UMT) hosted RUTS and UMT International Collaboration Camp 2025 (Tropical Aquaculture Camp) during 9-12 June 2025 hosted by Faculty of Science Fisheries and Technology, Trang Campus. As to expand the collaboration, the host also invited universities which keen on the filed of Fisheries joining the camp.
By invited Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) from Malaysia and 2 universities from Vietnam, Nha Trang University (NTU) and Can Tho University (CTU) to join. For RUTS representatives joining are lecturers and students from Faculty of Fisheries Science and Technology, Faculty of Veterinary Science and Faculty of Agriculture.
During the camp, participants enjoy learning and participating many activities such as the shrimp & fish disease diagnosis practice and oyster breeding practice. Not only classrooms activities participants join but also experienced the oyster breeding in the farm at Faculty of Science Fisheries and Technology and breeding farm as a field trip.
