During June 12th to 16th, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) and Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) successfully co-hosted the RUTS–UTP International Collaboration Camp 2025 (Entrepreneurship Camp), with UTP serving as the host this year. The event included together 41 lecturers and students from RUTS, representing various faculties from the Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Trang campus.
The primary focus of the camp was a dynamic Hackathon program, which aimed to cultivate innovation, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking among participants. Through a serie of team-based challenges, the Hackathon encouraged collaboration, leadership, and the practical application of newly acquired skills and digital tools.
These activities also emphasized the importance of community engagement and real-world impact, motivating participants to develop solutions that address local or global challenges.
In addition to the Hackathon, the camp featured a pitching competition, where teams presented their innovative ideas to a panel of judges, gaining valuable experience in business communication and project presentation. Participants also took part in a rich cultural exchange, which allowed students and from both universities to share traditions, foster international friendships and deepen cross-cultural understanding.
Overall, RUTS–UTP International Collaboration Camp 2025 not only strengthened academic and entrepreneurial collaboration between the two institutions but also provided an inspiring platform for participants to grow as future leaders and innovators.
