On November 18, during the second day of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya\u2019s (RUTS) academic visit to China, an official delegation led by Prof. Dr. Suwat Tanyaros, President of RUTS, visited Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) to explore new opportunities for academic cooperation and talent development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation included Dr. Lamun Kayurin, Assistant to the President; Assoc. Prof. Surasit Rawangwong, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Asst. Prof. Chainun Panyavoodso, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Omanee, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts; Asst. Prof. Chaiya Tanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology; and Aj. Rachawadee Chanthong, Lecturer from the Faculty of Science and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival, Prof. Su Sen, President of CQUPT, warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted the university\u2019s strengths in information and communication engineering, digital technology innovation, and international education. He emphasized the positive outcomes of the existing cooperation with RUTS and expressed strong interest in expanding the partnership into a long-term and strategic collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Suwat expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and reaffirmed RUTS\u2019s commitment to internationalization and producing globally competent graduates. He noted that the visit created valuable opportunities to deepen partnerships and develop new academic initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the two institutions held focused discussions across key faculties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Business Administration explored collaboration in digital business, logistics, international trade, and entrepreneurship, including joint training programs, faculty exchanges, student mobility, and research in FinTech and intelligent business systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Engineering discussed cooperation in telecommunications engineering, AI, IoT, robotics, and smart city technologies, with plans for joint research, dual-degree opportunities, student exchanges, and co-supervised senior projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology focused on technical teacher development, educational technology, and vocational innovation through joint workshops, collaborative research, staff exchanges, and digital learning development. CQUPT also shared its experience in modernizing teaching laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Liberal Arts explored opportunities in language education and cultural exchange, including Chinese\u2013Thai language programs, immersion camps, academic seminars, and student exchanges, along with collaboration on language technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These discussions strengthened academic connections and opened new pathways for collaborative teaching, research, and student development between RUTS and CQUPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit represents an important milestone in enhancing the long-standing relationship between the two universities and reaffirms their shared commitment to advancing academic collaboration, international education, and innovation-driven development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
