On March 24, 2025, Dr. Lamun Kayurin, Assistant to the President, hosted an online meeting with Asst. Prof. Manoch Khamcharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology; Dr. Nathathai Krebs, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research; Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeda Phumee, Head of the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries Products; and representatives from the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology. The meeting was to discuss the process of organizing activities under the RUTS and UMT International Collaboration Camp 2025 (Tropical Aquaculture Camp). During the meeting, it was agreed that the camp will be held from June 9 to 13, 2025. Participants will include 25 faculty members and students from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), along with 15 participants from other universities such as Can Tho University (CTU), Nha Trang University (NTU), and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) as well as 30 students from the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Faculty of Agriculture at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) will also join the camp.
