International Affairs, Office of the President together with the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) are pleased to announce its preparations to welcome a visiting lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Phaklen Ehkan, from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) as part of an ongoing academic collaboration between the two institutions. The visit, scheduled to take place from 17th to 30th August 2025, reflects the shared commitment of RUTS and UniMAP to promote cross-border academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and international cooperation in technical education. The visiting lecturer will engage in a series of academic activities, including guest lectures, student workshops, and discussions with faculty members aimed at strengthening academic networks and exploring future collaborative projects.
In preparation for the visit, RUTS has coordinated across departments to ensure a productive and welcoming experience. Administrative arrangements, academic scheduling, and logistical support are being finalized to provide a smooth and enriching environment for both the guest lecturer and the university community.
This initiative marks another important milestone in the strategic partnership between RUTS and UniMAP, following recent cooperative engagements such as joint seminars and the signing of an Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to foster academic collaboration. RUTS looks forward to the visit and is confident that this exchange will further enhance mutual understanding and academic excellence between the two institutions.
