𝑼𝑼𝑴 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝑹𝑼𝑻𝑺 𝒕𝒐 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒔 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔
On August 4, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) warmly welcomed a delegation from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration between the two universities. The UUM delegation was led by Dr. Azahar Kasim, Manager for Regional East Asia and Southeast Asia, along with Mr. Muhammad Hafidz Baharudin and Mr. Mohd Azri Aziz from the Center of International Affairs and Cooperation, Universiti Utara Malaysia.
The visit was hosted by Dr. Lamun Kayurin, Assistant to the President of RUTS, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Omanee, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Dr. Kittiya Phisutthangkoon, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and International Cooperative Education, Faculty of Liberal Arts.
The meeting, held at the International Affairs Office, Office of the President, aimed to discuss potential areas of cooperation, with a particular focus on joint academic activities and future student mobility programs. Both parties expressed mutual interest in fostering sustainable international partnerships through academic exchanges and collaborative projects.
This visit marks a promising step toward expanding regional academic engagement and promoting cross-cultural learning opportunities between Thailand and Malaysia.
