From May 12th to 16th, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), successfully organized the RUTSβInternational Collaboration Camp 2025 (Smart Farm Camp). This year, UniMAP served as the host, welcoming a total of 75 participants, including both lecturers and students from both institutions.
RUTS was proudly represented by lecturers and students from various faculties and campuses, notably the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, and Ratthaphum College. The camp offered a well-rounded program that combined academic enrichment with cultural exchange.
Participants engaged in insightful discussions between lecturers and students along with knowledge-sharing sessions on smart farming technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture. These sessions explored topics such as precision farming, automated irrigation, sensor-based crop monitoring, and sustainable farming practices.
In addition to classroom activities, participants engaged in hands-on experiences such as a farm track race and a field visit to learn about smart farming.
During the closing ceremony, the President of RUTS, along with members of the administrative team, honored the event by joining as special guests. Also took part in presenting prizes and certificates to participants, recognizing their achievements and contributions throughout the camp.
